Arsenal and PSG target Morgan Rogers as transfer race grows

Arteta wants Rogers after Arsenal’s title-winning season

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly identified Aston Villa winger Morgan Rogers as one of his preferred targets for the summer transfer window. The 23-year-old England international is seen as a player who could help strengthen Arsenal further after their Premier League title success.

However, Arsenal are not alone in their interest. Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be monitoring Rogers after winning the Champions League, which could turn the race for the Aston Villa attacker into one of the more closely followed transfer stories of the window.

Real Madrid are also being linked with a major Premier League name. Members of the Spanish club’s recruitment department are reportedly pushing for a move for Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice. The 27-year-old England international has impressed Madrid officials with his leadership, physical presence and technical ability.

Liverpool could also face a major change in goal. Alisson is reportedly planning to tell the club’s new manager that he wants to leave Anfield and continue his career with Juventus. The Brazilian goalkeeper is now 33 and has been one of Liverpool’s key players for several seasons.

Manchester United close in on Ederson deal

Manchester United are moving closer to an agreement for Atalanta midfielder Ederson. The 26-year-old Brazilian could join the Old Trafford club for a fee of around £35m as United look to strengthen their midfield options.

Joao Palhinha’s future also remains uncertain. The Portugal midfielder, who is currently on loan at Tottenham from Bayern Munich, does not want to make the move permanent. The 30-year-old is instead expected to try to secure a return to Sporting.

Several Premier League clubs are also interested in AC Milan winger Rafael Leao. Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle have all been linked with the Portuguese forward. The 26-year-old is reportedly keen to leave San Siro this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain have cooled their interest in Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez. Even so, the 26-year-old Argentina international remains on the lists of Arsenal and Barcelona.

Barcelona linked with Bernardo Silva as Palace hold Sage talks

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has reportedly been offered to Inter Milan, although the Italian club do not currently view the 33-year-old Englishman as a priority signing.

Bernardo Silva is said to be interested in joining Barcelona. The 31-year-old Portugal midfielder is approaching the end of his Manchester City contract and could be available as the Catalan club look at midfield options.

Brighton are expected to face competition from Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt for Wolfsburg winger Patrick Wimmer. The 25-year-old Austrian is attracting interest from several clubs.

Crystal Palace have held another round of talks with Lens manager Pierre Sage. The French coach is highly rated and remains a possible option for the London club.

Cesc Fabregas, meanwhile, is reportedly happy at Como despite links with other coaching roles. The former midfielder has also been mentioned in connection with Real Madrid, but the Italian club are not expecting him to push for a move.
