Marcus Rashford addresses Barcelona future after El Clasico goal

Rashford helps Barcelona seal La Liga

Marcus Rashford called Barcelona’s title-clinching win over Real Madrid the perfect way to finish the season.

The forward, who is on loan from Manchester United, scored a superb early free-kick in Barcelona’s 2-0 victory. Ferran Torres added the second goal after 18 minutes.

Jude Bellingham had a second-half goal ruled out for offside, while Thibaut Courtois kept the score down with saves from Rashford and Torres.

Forward refuses to commit beyond loan spell

After the match, Rashford said he was happy and wanted to enjoy the moment before making any decision on his future.

He said he came to Barcelona to win, and the La Liga title made the move feel successful.

The 28-year-old added that Barcelona deserved the trophy over the full season because the team responded well after difficult moments.

Manchester United situation remains open

Rashford joined Barcelona after falling out of favour under former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim.

Michael Carrick is now in charge at Old Trafford and is expected to get the job permanently after securing Champions League football.

Despite that change, Rashford did not confirm whether he plans to return to United or push to stay in Spain.
