Levi Colwill: Chelsea’s Ambition is Only Just Beginning

Chelsea defender Levi Colwill is brimming with confidence after the Blues’ impressive Club World Cup victory, where they triumphed over Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 at the MetLife Stadium. Colwill is adamant that their success is no fluke and believes Chelsea’s sights are now firmly set on the Premier League and Champions League titles.

“We know how good we are,” Colwill said. “If other people don’t believe that, then hopefully we have changed their minds now. Our plan was always to win the Club World Cup, and I’m saying the same thing going into the Premier League and Champions League. I think we’re ready for it.”

Leah Williamson’s Cautious Optimism for England

England Women’s captain Leah Williamson is wary of the threat posed by Sweden ahead of their Euro 2025 quarter-final clash. After their dominant 6-1 win over Wales, England now face Sweden, a team known for being a consistent contender in European competitions. Williamson insists England won’t take Sweden lightly despite their earlier 4-0 victory over them in the semi-finals of Euro 2021.

“Sweden are a fantastic team,” Williamson commented. “They always show up and pose a threat to most teams. We’re looking forward to the fixture and will be fully prepared.”
