Giovanni Leoni addressed fans after being stretchered off on his Liverpool debut, thanking everyone for their support and vowing to return to Anfield as soon as possible. Reports suggest the Italian has suffered ACL damage, a blow that could sideline him for most, if not all, of the season.
What it means for Liverpool’s depth
