Liverpool’s Historic Partnership with Adidas Continues
Liverpool has kicked off its new 10-year kit supply deal with Adidas by unveiling two new jerseys for the 2025-26 season. This marks the third time the club has partnered with the German sportswear brand, with a rich history of success during their previous collaborations.
Classic Home Kit with a Nod to the Past
The home kit for the 2025-26 season features a classic, clean red design with white trim, departing from last year’s geometric patterns. The use of white piping outlining the torso is reminiscent of past kits, particularly the 2006-08 Adidas home shirt, creating a sense of nostalgia for Liverpool fans.
Subtle but Stylish Away Kit Design
The away kit features a smart, white jersey with red and black detailing, embodying simplicity and elegance. A unique touch in the design is the reframing of the Liver Bird crest, inspired by the historic arch design of Anfield’s Main Stand from the early 1900s.
Tributes to the Past with the “97” Emblem and Jota’s Shirt Number
Both the home and away kits continue the tradition of honoring the “97” Hillsborough flame emblem. Additionally, a special tribute to the late Diogo Jota is included, with fans able to add his No. 20 shirt number to their replica shirts. All profits will benefit the LFC Foundation, which is planning a grassroots football project in his name.
Debut Matches for the New Kits
The new kits will make their debut in early August. The home kit will be worn in friendly matches against Athletic Club at Anfield, while the away kit will see action in the Community Shield against Crystal Palace at Wembley.
